| this was posted by someone at my work and i thought i'd pass it along:
For My Liberal Friends:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2006, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures who contribute
For My Conservative Friends:
Here's wishing all of You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year | | |

my manager was telling me that one year she dressed up as "a guy's
worst nightmare" -- a positive pregnancy test. hahahhahaa. how
creative.

| so many questions...so few answers.
at the beginning of the semester my co-worker gave me a taro card
reading and she said that this was going to be a hard semester with
many tough decisions. i never imagined it would ever be this
hard.
she also said that i have a strong foundation and i have a
good head on my shoulders to help me get through these tough
times. i don't think i'd be able to handle everything without my
friends and family.
i wish time would go by faster, so i'd have all the answers now.
i want to be a kid again when all i worried about was finishing my
homework so i could go play outside with my neighbors.
sigh...those were the days...

| this isn't exactly the best picture, but it's all i have. where's
vicente when you need him? hehe. i thai danced at a fundraiser event a
few weeks ago. can you guess which one i am?
you probably wouldn't have been able to recognize me with the pile of
make up i had on. what i thought was more than enough make up was too
little for everyone else, so they took the liberty of loading more make
up on my face. if you saw me up close, you would've thought i looked
hideous. i couldn't even look at myself in the mirror.
--edit--
hmm...i don't know why the pic isn't showing up, but here's the link:
